- katie orme Added June 10, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have been staying at magnetic retreat every year since I was 6 years old I am now 22 and still love this place dearly. It allowed my family to stay in the same complex with our friends and is close to beautiful alma bay, Arcadia, the rock wallaby's and the world famous toad races.
The rooms are clean, cool and have everything you need for a relaxed holiday. There is also an excellent concrete driveway for us kids to ride around on our scooters back in the day. The hotel are also so well price which allows for all our family friends to stay together. Frankly Magnetic Island is my favourite place on earth and I have nothing but the best memories from staying at magnetic retreat and plan and returning for years to come.
This place is a Magnetic Island staple and I love it isn't commercialised like some other places on the island. Keep up the great work guys!! Hopefully be back soon!!
